Juan Quintana

Juan Quintana is a Wellcome Research Fellow at the University of Manchester. His laboratory is interested in elucidating the immunological basis of sleep disorders. More recently, his team has been using pre-clinical models to interrogate how the immune system shapes normal brain development, which hold potential for the diagnostic and treatment of neurodevelopment disorders. His long-term vision is to disentangle the intricate and life-long partnership between the immune system and the CNS to ensure brain resilience.
