Gareth Evans

Professor in Medical Genetics and Cancer Epidemiology

Gareth Evans was a Professor of Medical Genetics and Cancer Epidemiology at the University of Manchester until he retired in 2025. The main focus of research has been on genetic predisposition to breast cancer and type 2 neurofibromatosis. He was also a Principal Investigator for the Manchester BRC Rare Conditions Theme.
