Pharmacogenomics is increasingly being recognised as a valuable way of reducing adverse drug reactions and improving drug effectiveness. This course aims to deliver up-to-date knowledge on how pharmacogenomics can be applied in clinical practice. The primary beneficiaries of the course will be drug prescribers with limited knowledge of pharmacogenomics. This course will be especially valuable for pharmacists, GPs and hospital physicians and nurse prescribers.
This in-person course facilitates opportunity for informal interaction and discussion with experts from across Europe. The faculty combines experts from genetics, pharmacology, pharmacy, laboratory science, all known for their teaching skills. As well as being of interest to individuals working in industry in diagnostics or therapeutics

A limited number of fellowships are available to support participation in this course and to enable attendance by individuals who may otherwise be unable to take part.
As listed above, applicants wishing to be considered should submit a two-page CV together with a half-page (maximum) personal statement outlining their professional background, current role, interest in pharmacogenetics/pharmacogenomics, and how participation in the course will benefit their future work and professional development. Please note, priority will be given to applicants from economically disadvantaged countries, particularly those who would benefit most from access to specialised training in this field.
Applications must be submitted by 17th May 2026, and successful applicants will be notified within two weeks of the application deadline.
