Robert Wynn

Clinical Professor of Paediatric Haematology and Cellular Therapy

Robert Wynn is a Honorary Clinical Professor of Paediatric Haematology and Cellular Therapy at the University of Manchester and a Consultant Paediatric Haematologist and Director of the Paediatric Bone Marrow Transplant Programme at  Manchester University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. His research focuses on treatment of rare metabolic conditions by stem cell transplant and by stem cell gene therapy, and also how transplant may cure leukaemia and other cancers that are currently incurable with current approaches. He leads multiple clinical trials to improve outcomes for children with these rare diseases and is also a Principal Investigator for the Manchester BRC Rare Conditions Theme.
