Brian Bigger
Honorary Professor of Cell and Gene Therapy
Brian Bigger is Chair of Advanced Therapeutics at the University of Edinburgh, having moved there from Manchester in 2023. He holds an Honorary Professorship at the University of Manchester, where he continues as an academic principal investigator on two gene therapy trials for neurodegenerative metabolic diseases. He also previously served as a Principal Investigator for the Manchester BRC Rare Conditions Theme.
