Title: Prediction Modelling in ANCA Associated Vasculitides
ANCA associated vasculitides (AAV) are rare immune mediated multiorgan disorders but the main cause for an immune mediated rapid loss of kidney function in the elderly. AAV greatly impacts morbidity and mortality. Improved stratification models of disease severity and patient resilience promise improved patient management and outcomes. Silke has expertise in prediction modelling and developed the ANCA Kidney Risk Score (AKRiS); she leads on European efforts to standardise ANCA GN reporting and new kidney endpoints in the disease.
