Alex Frangi

Alejandro Frangi is the Bicentenary Turing Chair in Computational Medicine at the University of Manchester, with joint appointments at the Schools of Computer Science and Health Sciences. He applies advanced computational techniques to explore early detection and treatment options in rare conditions and other cardiovascular, musculoskeletal and neuroscience scientific fields. He is also the Digital Infrastructure Lead for the Manchester BRC and the Director of the Centre for Computational Imaging and Modelling in Medicine.
