David Knight

David Knight is an Expert Technical Specialist, Manager of the Biological Mass Spectrometry Facility (BioMS), RTP Lead for the Stoller Clinical Analysis Research Facility (SCARF) and Lead Supervisory Scientist for the Wellcome Discovery Research Platform for Cell-Matrix Biology at the University of Manchester. His team provides full-service research support for a range of rare disease studies, including biomarker discovery and clinical diagnostics, using mass spectrometry and affinity quantification techniques in areas such as proteomics, metabolomics, lipidomics and bioanalysis. Support for discovery, targeted and spatial analysis is available from his facility and other partner facilities within SCARF. Specialist bioinformatics staff are also available within the facility to support data processing, interpretation and appropriate integration with data from other techniques or modalities.
