
Abigail Green
Clinical Research Fellow
Abigail joined North West Genomics Medicine Service Alliance (GMSA) as a Genomics Research Fellow in March 2024. She graduated with a BSc (Hons) in Global Public Health from Queen Mary University of London (2015) and a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from Hull York Medical school (2016). Following foundation training and paediatric work abroad, she trained in paediatrics in South Thames (2020-2023) before commencing Clinical Genetics training in 2023.
She is contributing to the Rare and Inherited Disease Network of Excellence activities by re-analyzing unsolved 100KGP cases, supporting rare disease clinical trials and contributing to the design of the Rare Diseases Therapies and Trials course, due to run in 2026.
She is also supporting the delivery of the Fetal Exposures to Medicine Pilot Service and contributing to activities of the Manchester Rare Conditions Centre, alongside helping with various other research projects.
