Tracy Briggs
Honorary Consultant Clinical Geneticist
Tracy Briggs is a Senior Clinical Lecturer at the University of Manchester and a Honorary Consultant at Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust. Her research focuses on immunogenetics, i.e. defining the genetic factors that regulate the immune system and determining the consequences of a genetic change to human health. She has a particular interest in type I interferon driven diseases and the genetics of rare forms of systemic lupus erythematosus. She is also a Principal Investigator within the Manchester BRC Rare Conditions and Rheumatic and Musculoskeletal Diseases Themes.
